The LNER (London and North East Railway) inspired Lantern is a response to modern life lived in an environment rich in railway heritage. The tracks, stations and engines of North East England form an inspiring industrial landscape that stretches back and forward in time, linking past and present through an enduring cycle of maintenance, repair and renewal.
